2022 Cuvée Marie-Claude

The most aromatic wine we have ever made! Hints of lavender and violets are overtaken by ripe red and dark fruits. The exaggerated nose surprisingly gives way to a soft, feminine, and nuanced wine. The Cuvee is balanced and lingers in the mouth revealing all the expected fruit but adds some white pepper and tobacco as it finishes with flair. The three-barrel Cuvee is two-thirds whole cluster with a barrel of velvety Dijon Clone 943 to add texture and body. Terri and I are very, very happy with this wine.
